I’ve previously posted a video on voice control using Siri + Raspberry Pi + Z-Wave. However implementing that requires a little bit of programming and messing with Linux commands. Today I’m going to introduce an Android based voice control which doesn’t require any programming 🙂 This is a 3 part video which I’m going to show only the lighting control this week. Enjoy!
There’s one command (that’s abit too bright) that seems to fail because i pressed the listen button accidentally. The lights actually dimmed when I said that. Basically the voice control with Android is much more dynamic than Siri as you can chain commands and speak multiple commands within the same sentence. The best thing is, if you have an Android phone, you can also do the same. No additional hardware required. I’ll show the TV control in the part 2 video next week 🙂
PS: Ironman has J.A.R.V.I.S (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) but I now have S.A.R.A.H (Simply A Rather Automated Home)
